Together you and your fellow passenger will join just 10 other guests on board a private expedition ship, exploring the stunning Svalbard Archipelago. Your Natural World Safaris (NWS) experience begins with the arrival of the signature NWS Polar Package, including high-quality jacket, beanie and flask. You’ll be whisked to Heathrow Airport in a private vehicle for business class fast-track boarding flights to Longyearbyen, Svalbard, where the Svalbard Hotel Polfareren awaits. After settling in to your sumptuous suite, you will be hosted this evening by NWS and Restaurant Huset, where exceptional service and a sensational wine-paired menu will ensure an indulgent evening. Tomorrow you may choose to enjoy dog sledding, snowmobiling, an ice cave tour or a glacier safari.

In the late afternoon, board the M/V Kinfish to set off on your nine, 10 or 11-day expedition. During your safari you can expect to visit iceberg-filled fjords framed by breathtaking mountains; sail past towering cliffs populated by colossal seabird colonies; and see gigantic glaciers crashing into the icy seas. Your search for Arctic wildlife will see you seeking out polar bears on the hunt, colonies of walrus basking in the Arctic sun, and whales swimming through frigid waters. On shore landings, you may come across the Arctic fox or the Svalbard reindeer, and witness the beauty of Svalbard’s flora. There is no fixed itinerary for this safari, which means we put you in the right place at the right time to maximise your wildlife encounters.
